5.2 Íoslódáil Aipe agus Cruthú Cuntais

  1. Íoslódáil an Tuya Cliste or Saol Cliste app from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).
  2. Cláraigh le haghaidh cuntas nua nó logáil isteach má tá ceann agat cheana féin.

5.3 Péireáil Gléasanna

  1. Cinntigh go bhfuil do ghuthán cliste ceangailte le Líonra WiFi 2.4GHz. The sensor does not support 5GHz WiFi.
  2. Oscail an aip Tuya Smart or Smart Life.
  3. Tapáil an deilbhín "+" sa chúinne uachtarach ar dheis chun gléas a chur leis.
  4. Select "Security & Video Surveillance" > "PIR Detector" or search for "Motion Sensor".
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to put the sensor into pairing mode (usually involves pressing and holding a reset button until an indicator light flashes).
  6. Confirm the indicator light is flashing rapidly in the app and enter your 2.4GHz WiFi password.
  7. Wait for the device to connect. Once connected, you can rename the sensor and assign it to a room.

5.4 An Braiteoir a chur suas

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting. Consider areas where human movement is expected, such as hallways, entryways, or rooms.
  2. Ensure the chosen location is within the sensor's detection range (up to 6 meters) and has a clear line of sight.
  3. Glan an dromchla gléasta go maith.
  4. Peel off the protective film from the double-sided adhesive provided.
  5. Attach the adhesive to the back of the sensor and then firmly press the sensor onto the desired wall or surface.

6. Treoracha Oibriúcháin

6.1 Faireachán Cianda tríd an Aip

Once paired, you can monitor the sensor's status and receive alerts directly on your smartphone through the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. The app will display real-time notifications when motion or presence is detected.

6.2 Adjusting Sensor Parameters

Within the app, navigate to the sensor's settings to customize its behavior:

  • Íogaireacht PIR: Adjust the sensitivity level (e.g., Low, Middle, High) to prevent false alarms or ensure detection of subtle movements.
  • Keep Time (Cooldown Time): Set the duration for which the sensor remains in a 'triggered' state after detection. This prevents repeated triggers within a short period. The shortest setting can be 30 seconds, and the longest 120 seconds.
  • Aláram Gluaisne: Enable or disable motion detection alerts.
  • Lower Battery Notification: Turn on/off alerts for low battery status.
  • SMS/Phone Notification: Configure additional notification methods (may require subscription or specific regional services).

6.3 Scene Linkage with Other Smart Devices

Leverage the Tuya ecosystem to create smart scenes:

  1. In the app, go to the "Smart" or "Automation" section.
  2. Create a new automation.
  3. Set the condition: "When device status changes" > select your motion sensor > "Motion detected".
  4. Set the action: "Run the device" > select another Tuya-compatible device (e.g., a smart light, smart curtain, or smart alarm) > define the action (e.g., "Turn On", "Open").
  5. Save the automation.

7. Cothabháil

7.1 Athsholáthar Ceallra

When you receive a low battery notification from the app, or if the sensor's performance degrades, replace the AAA Alkaline batteries promptly. Refer to Section 5.1 for battery installation instructions.

7.2 Glanadh

To ensure optimal performance, periodically clean the sensor's lens with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the device.

8. Fabhtcheartú

  • Braiteoir nach bhfuil ag braith gluaiseachta:
    • Check battery level in the app and replace if low.
    • Ensure the sensor is mounted correctly and has a clear line of sight.
    • Adjust PIR sensitivity settings in the app to a higher level.
    • Bí ar an eolas faoi na cooldown time (Keep Time) setting. If the sensor was recently triggered, it will not re-trigger until the cooldown period has passed. This is normal operation.
  • Aláraim bhréagacha go minic:
    • Adjust PIR sensitivity settings in the app to a lower level.
    • Ensure the sensor is not facing direct sunlight, heat sources, or areas with significant air currents (e.g., near vents), which can cause false triggers.
  • Sensor offline in app:
    • Check your home's 2.4GHz WiFi network status.
    • Ensure the sensor is within range of your WiFi router.
    • Seiceáil leibhéal na ceallraí agus cuir in ionad é más gá.
    • Try restarting the sensor by removing and reinserting batteries.
    • If issues persist, try re-pairing the device with the app (refer to Section 5.3).

9. Important Notes and Safety Information

  • This device requires a Líonra WiFi 2.4GHz for connectivity. It is not compatible with 5GHz WiFi networks.
  • The sensor has a built-in cooldown time (Keep Time) after each detection. During this period, the sensor will not re-trigger, even if further motion is detected. This is a standard feature to conserve battery life and prevent excessive notifications. The cooldown time can be adjusted in the app from 30 to 120 seconds.
  • Ná nochtaigh an gléas do theocht mhór, do sholas díreach na gréine, ná do thaise ard.
  • Coinnigh an gléas ar shiúl ó réimsí leictreamaighnéadacha láidre.
  • Tá an gléas seo beartaithe le húsáid laistigh amháin.
  • Ná déan iarracht an gléas a dhíchóimeáil ná a dheisiú leat féin. Téigh i dteagmháil le tacaíocht do chustaiméirí má thagann fadhbanna chun cinn.
