3. Socrú agus Suiteáil
3.1 Ceangal Cumhachta
Connect the supplied DC Power Cable with Fuse Holder to the radio's power input. Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative) and connect to a stable 13.8V power source. The fuse holder provides protection against overcurrent.
3.2 Ceangal Antenna
Attach a suitable VHF antenna to the SO-239 connector on the rear of the radio. Ensure the antenna is properly tuned for the operating frequency range (144-148MHz) to prevent damage to the transceiver.

3.3 Microphone and Wireless PTT
Connect the microphone to the front panel RJ45 port. The included BT Wireless PTT can be paired for hands-free operation. Refer to the pairing instructions in the full user manual for detailed steps.
3.4 Gléasta
Use the provided mobile mounting bracket and hardware kit to securely install the radio in your vehicle or at a base station. Ensure adequate ventilation around the heat sink and fan for optimal performance.

4. Treoracha Oibriúcháin
4.1 Cumhacht Ar Siúl/Múch agus Toirt
Press the PWR button to turn the radio on or off. Rotate the VOL knob to adjust the audio output level.
4.2 Roghnú Cainéal agus Minicíochta
Use the large rotary knob on the left to select channels or adjust frequency. The V/M button switches between VFO (Frequency Mode) and Memory Mode. The MHz button allows for larger frequency steps.
4.3 AI Noise Cancelling
The AT-588Max features AI-powered noise cancellation for both transmit (TX) and receive (RX) paths. This function helps to maintain clear communication even in noisy environments. The noise reduction level can be adjusted through the radio's menu settings.

4.4 Wireless PTT Operation
The included BT Wireless PTT allows for convenient hands-free communication. Ensure the PTT is paired with the radio. Press the PTT button to transmit and release to receive.
