The MKey PRO supports three modes of connection: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB-C wired.

  • Gan Sreang 2.4GHz: Insert the 2.4GHz USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer. Switch the keyboard's mode selector to 2.4G. The keyboard should connect automatically.
  • Bluetooth 5.2: Switch the keyboard's mode selector to BT. On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "MONTECH MKey PRO" to pair.
  • USB-C Sreangaithe: Connect the provided USB-C cable from the keyboard to your computer. Switch the keyboard's mode selector to USB.

2. Dongle Storage

The 2.4GHz wireless dongle can be conveniently stored within the keyboard itself, under a magnetic cover, when not in use.

  • VIA Bogearraí: Download the VIA software from the official MONTECH website. Connect your keyboard via USB-C. The software will automatically detect your keyboard, allowing you to remap keys, create layers, and configure lighting.
  • QMK Firmware: For advanced users, QMK firmware provides open-source control for deep customization. Refer to the QMK documentation for instructions on compiling and flashing custom firmware.
