3.1. Receiver Rear Panel

The image below illustrates the rear panel of the UHF wireless microphone system receiver, highlighting its various connection ports and controls.

cúil view of the UHF wireless microphone system receiver showing input and output ports.

This image displays the rear panel of the UHF wireless microphone system receiver. From left to right, it features the antenna for Balanced B, an XLR output labeled 'BALANCED B', a 1/4 inch 'MIXED' output with a switch for 'LINE' or 'MIC' level, an 'AF OUT' port, a 'DC IN' port for the 12V 500mA power adapter, an XLR output labeled 'BALANCED A', and the antenna for Balanced A.

  • BALANCED A / BALANCED B (XLR Outputs): These are individual XLR outputs for Microphone A and Microphone B, respectively. Use these for balanced audio connections to a mixer or amplitheoir.
  • MIXED (1/4" Output): This output combines the audio from both microphones into a single 1/4" (TS) jack.
  • LINE/MIC Switch: Located next to the MIXED output, this switch adjusts the output level for the 1/4" MIXED jack. Select 'LINE' for connecting to line-level inputs on mixers or amplifiers, and 'MIC' for microphone-level inputs.
  • AF AMACH: Audio Frequency Output.
  • DC IN (12V 500mA): Connect the provided AC-DC power adapter here.
  • Antennas: Two antennas for receiving signals from the wireless microphones. Ensure they are securely attached and positioned for optimal reception.

3.2. Handheld Microphones

Each handheld microphone features:

  • Cumhacht ar / As lasc.
  • Battery compartment for AA batteries.
  • LCD display showing channel frequency, RF level, AF level, and mute status.

4. Socrú

4.1. Receiver Setup

  1. Unpack the receiver and place it on a stable surface.
  2. Attach the two antennas to the corresponding connectors on the rear panel of the receiver. Position them vertically for best signal reception.
  3. Connect the AC-DC power adapter to the 'DC IN' port on the receiver and then plug it into a power outlet.
  4. Connect the receiver's audio output to your mixer, amplifier, or sound system. Use either the individual XLR outputs (BALANCED A/B) or the 1/4" MIXED output, depending on your equipment. If using the 1/4" MIXED output, ensure the LINE/MIC switch is set appropriately.

4.2. Socrú Micreafóin

  1. Unscrew the bottom part of each handheld microphone to access the battery compartment.
  2. Insert two (2) AA batteries into each microphone, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Securely reattach the bottom part of the microphone.

5. Treoracha Oibriúcháin

5.1. Powering On and Synchronization

  1. Turn on the receiver by pressing its power button. The LCD display will illuminate.
  2. Turn on each handheld microphone using its power switch.
  3. The system features automatic transmitter setup. The channel of the transmitter (microphone) and receiver will synchronize automatically. The receiver's LCD display will show RF (Radio Frequency) and AF (Audio Frequency) levels, channel frequency, and mute status.

5.2. Roghnú Minicíochta

The system offers 100 selectable frequencies on each channel, allowing up to 20 units to be used simultaneously. If you experience interference, you can change the operating frequency:

  1. Consult the receiver's manual or display for instructions on how to access and change frequencies for each channel.
  2. Once a new frequency is selected on the receiver, the corresponding microphone will automatically synchronize.

5.3. Rialú Imleabhar

The receiver has individual volume controls for each channel (Microphone A and Microphone B). Adjust these knobs to achieve the desired audio level. Further volume adjustments can be made on your connected mixer or amplitheoir.

5.4. Tone Lock Squelch

The built-in Tone Lock Squelch circuit provides protection from RF interference, ensuring clear audio transmission.

6. Cothabháil

6.1. Glanadh

  • Wipe the receiver and microphones with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Ná húsáid glantóirí leachtacha ná tuaslagóirí, mar d’fhéadfadh siad damáiste a dhéanamh don chríoch nó do na comhpháirteanna inmheánacha.

6.2. Athsholáthar Ceallraí

  • Replace microphone batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the microphone's LCD display or when audio quality degrades.
  • Always use fresh AA batteries and dispose of old batteries responsibly.
  • Remove batteries from microphones if they will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

6.3. Stóráil

  • Stóráil an córas in áit fhionnuar, thirim, amach ó sholas díreach na gréine agus ó theocht mhór.
  • The included carrying case is ideal for protecting the system during storage and transport.
