1. Select the Correct Nosepiece: Identify the appropriate nosepiece size that matches the diameter of the rivet you intend to use. The kit includes five sizes: 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", and 1/4". Refer to the chart below for guidance.
2. Install the Nosepiece: The nosepieces are designed for toolless installation. Simply screw the selected nosepiece onto the head of the rivet gun until it is secure. A small O-ring helps keep it in place.
3. Prepare the Collection Bottle: Ensure the transparent collection bottle is securely attached to the rivet gun to catch spent rivet shafts during operation.

Follow these steps to effectively use your AKKTOL Rivet Gun:

1. Cuir isteach Rivet: Open the handles of the rivet gun fully and insert the long stem of the rivet into the installed nosepiece. Ensure the rivet head is flush against the nosepiece.
2. Seasamh Rivet: Place the rivet into the pre-drilled hole in the material(s) you wish to join. Ensure the rivet is fully seated.
3. Set Rivet: Firmly squeeze the handles of the rivet gun together. You may need to squeeze multiple times depending on the rivet size and material thickness. Continue squeezing until you hear a distinct 'snap', indicating that the rivet stem has broken off and the rivet is securely set.
4. Release and Collect: Once the rivet is set, release the handles. The broken rivet stem will fall into the transparent collection bottle.

• Empty Collection Bottle: Periodically empty the transparent collection bottle to prevent it from overfilling and to ensure proper operation.

• Broken Rivet Stem Stuck:
  • If a broken rivet stem becomes stuck in the tool, install the largest size rivet head onto the gun.
  • Open the handles of the rivet gun fully. The increased opening with the larger nosepiece should allow the stuck stem to fall out automatically.
