1. Ensure the thermometer is in body temperature mode.
2. Position the thermometer between the eyebrows, approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) from the forehead. The PositionCheck™ aiming light and proximity sensor will help guide you to the correct distance.
3. Press and release the temperature button (🌡️).
4. The reading will appear on the color-coded LCD display within two seconds.

Taking Food or Liquid Temperature Readings

The thermometer can also measure the temperature of food and liquids, such as baby formula or bath water.

1. Switch the thermometer to the appropriate mode (food or liquid).
2. Point the thermometer at the surface of the food or liquid from a short distance.
3. Press and release the temperature button. The reading will be displayed.
